It's coming up to that time of year girls, ascot, summer weddings, garden parties and what is a girl to do with all of the cost of buying new dresses? Well I would suggest investing in pieces that you can wear on more than just these occasions,
Shift dresses for instance are a great buy as you can dress them up for these kind of events with some statement jewellery, a gorgeous clutch bag and some killer heels, plus you can also wear to work or out and about with flats and a denim jacket for a smart/casual look. The high street is full of shift dresses at the moment, so you have a large array of choice, here are so me of my favs from
Oasis

And for those of you that want to go all out for more of a
party dress how about these from
Asos

And remember to wear a sensible but pretty pair of knickers on those days where there's a risk of a sudden gust of wind!!
Just because you're plus size, it doesn't mean that there isn't a great range of fashionable dresses to suit you.

I definitely agree with your very wise advice to buy the dresses that can be universally worn for other occasions. Just love the printed floral fit dress from Oasis (has a hint of vintage glamour in it) and the yellow asymetrical dress. Gorgeous!
