Well girls, firstly apologies for the lack of posts recently, i've had a really hectic couple of months but hopefully am right back on track now, and just in time the new season, and boy do i love autumn/winter collections.
One of the most important items of your autumn wardrobe should be a great pair of boots to see you through the colder months, and take you right the way from office chic, evening glam to cool casual weekend style. But if your like me and you have calves that are a little on the skinny side and struggle to find a pair of boots that don't look like wellies, then click onto http://www.duoboots.com/ who custom make beautiful and stylish boots to fit you perfectly!
They also cater for wider calves and make wide fitting shoes.
Don't you just love these Taupe chunky heeled suede knee highs £185 (also available in Black), the neutral shade is perfect for this season's nude/natural colour trend, and can pretty much be worn with any colour.
But my favourite are these gorgeous Purple suede over the knee boots, at £225 they're not exactly cheap but, i say somethings are worth that little extra, wouldn't you agree girls? Plus they will last you for years providing that you get a good proctective spray for them.

Ohhhh, i haven't got this excited over a bag in a long time!
These two little beauties really hit the spot and are just £25 each at asos, the first one gives a nod to the whole nude trend and will still look elegant and on trend in years to come, but the colourful peacock one really does it for me...absolutely gorgeous, and great for adding a splash of colour to an otherwise plain outfit, perfect to wear with your LBD.
This gorgeous peacock green halter neck is £30 and is a perfect holiday essential, where with a cropped light denim jacket for a cool/casual look.
And this elegant grey number (£35) is perfect for those summer parties and evenings out.

This drop leaf vest (£38) is just gorgeous and a perfect summer shade of salmon (though not good if you happen to get sun burnt).
And if your brave enough to bare your midriff girls, then this crop top (£28) is lovely, the flowers attached are made from leather and if i was brave enough this would definitely be in my wardrobe.

As your all aware by now girls, nude hues are hot this season, and i came across these two lovely nudey items from Miss Selfridge.
This sequined dress (£69) is so cute, but the neckline is incredibly sexy and very flattering.
And i love this Lacey tux jacket (£40), to me this looks more like a designer piece than highstreet, the detailing and structure of it is outstanding for a mere £40. This will really give you an up to the minute, bang on trend look and will also be very figure flattering for most shapes.
Dorothy Perkins are now stocking a brand called Closet and some of the dresses are lovely!
Like this corn flower blue structured dress (£38), very Victoria Beckham and great for work but equally as nice for a special occasion with some added bling.
And the very on trend floral dress (£35) is an essential wardrobe item this season, great for summer parties and for adding a real feminine touch to your working wardrobe.

I'm loving the new items that Warehouse have at the moment, if only things weren't so darn pricey, i would probably buy the entire shop at the moment...but of unfortunately, my budget doesn't quite stretch to that and i don't have my press discount card yet (please please warehouse, i need one so that i can give honest reviews of the items to my readers! lol) anyway, enough of me rambling....these are my two hot picks of the moment.
The one shoulder dress (£60) is a must for summer girls, and this lovely aqua blue is a great dress for all skintones, looks wonderful on tanned and darker skin but equally as stunning on pale skin too. Add some bright fushia or orange accessories for a really bold and stunning look.
And this lighweight draping waterfall jacket (£55) is so now and a great essential for your summer wardobe.

And good old ASOS is a one stop shop for blazers (and everything else), my fav is this lightweight grey waterfall blazer (£55), it's great for the office but would look equally good worn with jeans for a smart/casual look.
Or how about this season's boyfriend blazer (£60) in the go to shade of the season - Beige. great for more casual looks but will also work with your work wear, And as it's made from linen, so it'll keep you cool when the weather does finally hot up, making it a longer lasting wardrobe piece for the summer, so a great investment.
Or how about a classic white tailored blazer by Mango at £54, this is a definite summer wardrobe must have, as you can mix it with absolutely anything!

Oh yes, we're alsmost there girls...strappy dress season, see i told you it would only be a few weeks away!
Go Parisian chic with this cute little stripey jersey dress (£22), wear with wedges or cute flats for more of a casual look. This is also a great summer investment buy as it's something that you can wear year after year without it looking dated and out of style.
And i adore this little strappy dress (£32), would look gorgeous worn with wedges or strappy heels, a little cardi and a clutch..... very Carrie Bradshaw i think.
The 1940's style dress has secret support panels to slim and smooth your tummy, for gorgeous an hourglass look.
They also have a tummy slimmer skirt which is also very 1940's sexy secretary and just £16
Tesco's we salute you!

Here's a snap of Rihanna actually looking really pretty and girly for a change, (I'm not a fan of her new look/style at all) in this gorgeous Marchesa dress. but you don't have to pay designer prices to copy her style, this copycat dress is £250 which i know is still pretty pricey girls, but it is lovely, and compared to Rihanna's £5,500.00 dress, it's a snip!

Ok ladies, we're almost there, the clocks have been sprung forward (much to my dismay when i awoke in the darkness this morning), but hoorah it means that British summertime has officially started, and it'll soon be time to don those summer dressses (just give it a few weeks, trust me), now i'm not a big fan of maxi dresses, but i have fallen in love with this beauty from the Rise collection at Dorothy Perkins (£40), it reminds me of tropical shores, and i can imagine sipping a cocktail by a posh poolside bar while wearing this...Ahhhhh!
Wear with this gorgeous brooch also from DP at £10, and some comfy wedges.
This would also make a great wedding guest outfit with some added bling and a classy clutch.

In December 2009, Topshop launched the ‘Dress Me Up’ charity dress hire project in aid of Age Concern and Help the Aged. Topshop’s fabulous circle of fashion friends dug deep in their wardrobes and donated a dress, which shoppers could then hire over the festive period. On 16th March the dresses are due to be auctioned by Kerry Taylor Auctions, with all proceeds going to the chosen charities.
Celebrites that have kindly donated to the project include Kate Moss, who donated a beautiful beaded Lanvin party dress, and Freida Pinto, who gave a pale yellow Burberry Prorsum dress. Scarlett Johansson’s Nanette Lepore animal print minidress will be available to buy, alongside a full length floral gown by Dolce & Gabbana from Peaches Geldof and a midnight blue evening dress by Australian designer Jayson Brundson from Dita Von Teese. Bidders will also have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to buy one of Nicola Roberts of Girls Aloud’s bespoke stage costumes from the band’s recent tour.
Kerry Taylor Auctions, the leading specialist auctioneer of haute couture and vintage fashion, will be organising this special auction. In addition to bidding in person, online bids will also be taken on the auction site invaluable.com from 2nd March, so there’s no need to be in London to be able to take advantage of the sale.
Sophie Dahl comments: “I am thrilled to support Age Concern and Help the Aged through Topshop's ‘Dress Me Up’ hire project and auction. What a good cause to put a lovely frock on for. The dress I donated is one I love, a proper party dress that deserves an outing."
Peaches Geldof is also pleased to be able to support the charity auction: “This dress was a gift from my good friends Dolce & Gabbana. It was beautifully made and means a lot to me. I wore it in Cannes and had lots of fun; I hope the next person who owns it does too.”

Drew, seen here at a recent premiere wearing a Lanvin dress, looked lovely, but you can copy the look (well sort of) for £40 at Elise Ryan.
And i personally think that the Elise Ryan dress is much nicer!

Loving these shoes from Dorothy Perkins!
As i'm sure that your already well aware girls, nudes are big news this season, so these nude pink peeptoe platforms (£38) are your IT shoe for summer, and the great thing is that these shoes are also timeless, so when the trend is over and done with, these will still be a style staple for you.
These grey studded courts (£35) have really got me drooling, i absultely love them and they are also another trend update for your wardrobe giving a nod to the whole embellishment trend. And the purple shoes (£40), well they are just really fab, right ladies?!
Girls, steal her style with this copycat dress from Smooph priced at £140. just wear with a net skirt underneath and your good to go!

I absolutely LOVE Cheryl's new single 'Parachute' and once again she's not afraid of stepping out of her usual classic and sensible style to go for something really out there and fashion forward for the new video. and if your a fan then you can steal her steal at Harrods for £159. The gorgeous sheer embellished gloves are by brilliant new designer Alessandra Rich and her line is currently available at Harrods. http://www.harrods.com/
Now i must say, i'm not a huge fan of the maxi dress, but this is a trend that just refuses to go away, and with these gorgeous maxi dresses from ASOS i might actually become a maxi dress convert.
Both are £60 which is a little steap, but will last you all through spring and summer, and make a great holiday essential. wear in the spring with a cropped denim jacket for a really up the minute trendy but ultra feminine look.
