Custom made boots!!

I find it so frustrating that highstreet stores do not cater for us ladies with very small (OK, chicken leg skinny) calf's when it comes to boots, i have seen so many gorgeous boots recently but they just look like wellies on me. If you have bigger calf's, you can pretty much find lots of places that do wider calf fitting boots, but only a few for slim calf's such as http://www.hennyjames.co.uk/, http://www.duoboots.com/ and http://www.fittedboots.com/ which doesn't really leave you with a lot of choice but hey at least there are some places out there that will cater for the slim leg!

At fittedboots.com they can actually custom make your boots to fit just right for you!

London Fashion Week - Jonh Rocha show

Well i went to see the John Rocha show yesterday, unfortunately it was the only one i was able to attend as i'm off on my hols, but it was an interesting show. First to come out, rather strangely were chunky short sleeved snowy knits (a bit odd for a summer collection, but hey you know what our summers can be like) then came lots of sheer dresses in sheer, almost skin tone shades as well as quite a few shift dress with a slightly different take, including one with a longer and slightly a line hem. There were also some gorgeous coral and aqua coloured sheer sarong style dresses, but most of the collection featured lots of ruffles and heavily featured were large bejewelled bibs.

My favourite piece was this sleeveless cobolt blue ruffled dress, the photo really doesn't do it any justice at all.

I promise that next season i will got to lots more shows and report on them all for you.

Anyone for a cocktail?

I have loved rings since i was a child, and still cherish my first ever ring, a little gold bow ring, and as i have gotten older my love affair with rings has grown and grown and the bigger the ring the better which is why i'm thrilled with the cocktail ring trend that's been around for a while now.
These two rings are guaranteed to make you feel ultra glam!

This Julien McDonald silver flower ring is now only £7 reduced from £25 at http://www.hsamuel.co.uk/

And this very glam crystal bow ring is £18.99 from http://www.glitzysecrets.com/

Trend focus - Lace

I had a question from Hannah about how to wear the current lace trend, so i have picked a few items to give you an idea.

This grey lace prom dress is £65 from http://www.freemans.com/, is perfect for a fancy party, wear with black dolly bar shoes and a clutch bag to complete this feminine look.

I love this black lace top £35 also from Freemans, i think it would be great for work, worn with a contrasting coloured pencil skirt like then one in the picture, smart but sexy, the perfect after work drinks outfit!

And these platform shoes £25 from http://www.newlook.co.uk/ are perfect if you'd just like to add a little touch of lace to a plain outfit.

Winter must have!

If your lucky enough to be able to carry off skinny jeans then these skinny khaki trousers £25 from http://www.asos.com are for you!

In this seasons trendiest colour, and let's face it one that will always look great, these are a winter must have.

Wear them with tan heels/shoeboots or brown knee length boots, i would suggest maybe wearing a longer top with it though.

Also available in Navy.

Hightsreet store of the week!

Miss selfridge never fail to impress me and as usual they have some great stuff a the moment!
This tan leather jacket is £100, but it's superb quality and a classic style that will last for years.
I love their vintage range and this pale pink jumper is super cute and only £25.
Add a bit of glamour to your outfit with these glam leopard print shoes priced at £20, would look great with cropped trousers for that effortless 60's style.

3 of the best tights

Well i hate to say it but, it's almost that time of year ladies, where you'll need to start covering up those legs as the weather gets colder, but don't play it safe with the usual boring black opaque's, try something different this year.

There are absolutely loads of funky coloured tights around at the moment which should brighten up your mood a little during the miserable winter months and add a nice dash of colour to a plain black outfit. these are my top picks all from http://www.asos.com

From left to right -

Asos mulberry 'velvet feel' 50 denier opaque tights £4.

Flirt for asos back seam tights £5 (for that sexy 40's style glamour).

Asos Navy 'velvet feel' 50 denier opaque tights £4.
