Hot new designer!

Hemyca is a fab new design company made up of three friends, Helen, Myra & Cathy graduates from the London College of Fashion. Having worked for leading fashion brands including; Roland Mouret, Ben de Lisi, and well known high street retailers, for many years, they were inspired to create a unique vision.

Hemyca are now in their 3rd Season and have recently showcased their S/S08 collection at On/Off London. Hemyca has a large client base including working with celebrity stylists and is stocked in the UK and USA as well as online designer boutiques and also offers a made-to-measure service. All products are made in London and all fabrics are of high-quality, sourced from Europe and the UK.

I have fallen in love with most of this collection, in particular the gorgeous jumpsuit pictured left (although i wouldn't actually have the guts to wear it myself).

Nights in grey satin...

I have fallen in love with this gorgeous vintage 70's looking silk dress £38 from http://www.asos.com

And as previously mentioned grey will be big for a/w 08 so this will keep you on trend all through next winter too!

Also available in cream.

Shoes, glorious shoes.....

These shoes from http://www.asos.com/ are lovely and are an absolute bargain.

The brown sandals are so on trend at the moment and are only £35, where as the grey ones (£25) are really ahead of the game with a/w 08's colour trend looking like it's predominately grey as seen on the catwalks at London Fashion Week recently, designers such as Nicole Farhi, Bora Aksu, Christopher Kane & Gareth Pugh (to name but a few) heavily featuring Grey in their collections.

Casual valentines outfit?

This is a really lovely little denim dress, it's incredibly figure flattering and would make a great casual valentines/date outfit, worn with thick tights (got to keep warm girls), some knee high boots and a little cardi.

Trendy work shirt

This JJ Park chiffon & knit blouse is a real different take on the classic work shirt and will add some high fashion to your wardrobe.

The black corset style panel will also make you appear much slimmer.

Wear with some black city shorts or colouttes and some shoe-boots for a really modern and smart work look.

Topshop goes ultra feminine

Ruffles are huge this season, and this is a lovely floaty and very feminine little top, £25 from http://www.topshop.com/

This is a great buy as it will last you from now until next autumn, just wear with a cardi on colder days.

This would also look great teamed with the shoes in the post below.

Secret fashion TIP: ruffles are great if you have a small bust as they make your boobs appear much bigger!

1940's glamour

Bring out your inner movie screen siren with these super sexy Dita Von Teese style platform shoes.

£65 from http://www.topshop.com

Would look great with a pencil skirt and some tights/stockings with a seam running up the back for that truely sexy 1940's look. You will find a great collection of these at http://www.uktights.com

The LBD for 2008

Blue satin seems to be the new celeb trend, stars such as Halle Berry, Gwen Stefani, Heidi Klum, Keira Knightley & Penelope Cruz have all been seen wearing blue satin evening dresses recently from designers such as Matthew Williamson, Chanel, Versace, Oscar De La Renta & Lanvin.

However this one by Miss Sixty is a little more affordable at £125

Available from http://www.asos.com/

Spring sandles

It's never too early to start buying for next season, and if you buy a little a time, you'll have a rather large summer wardrobe (hoorah!) by the time it arrives.
And you never know, we may have an early one this year? Cast your mind back to last March, it was shockily warm, so much so that i remember sunbathing in my garden (seriously), so make sure that your prepared and start buying for spring now!!
These fab sandles £50 from the asos premium range are lovely and very 70's!
